THE PERISHERS are a four-piece from Umea, Sweden, and they want to rock you -- ever-so-gently. THE HIVES, these guys are not.The fact that SARAH McLACHLAN is a big fan should probably give you some indication. Also, they're favorite-slippers-comfortable regulars on the TV soundtrack circuit: "The O.C.," "One Tree Hill," "Veronica Mars."
The Perishers will be releasing their third record, VICTORIOUS, September 4 on NETTWERK. They will also reportedly be touring North America this winter. Dates and venues TBA.

The Perishers are one of the most melodically attuned rock bands around at the moment. Their pop sensibilities combined wth heartfelt emotional lyrics leave other contemporaries in the shade. In a world overdosed on Coldplay and Snowpatrol, The Perishers music is a nourishing and necessary detox to the senses that will have you return for more than one dose but be warned.. it just might keep you addicted.
