SIA (aka SIA FURLER) is an Australian songstress who may be best known for her vocal work with UK electronica artists ZERO 7. Her third full-length effort, SOME PEOPLE HAVE REAL PROBLEMS, will be disseminated digitally in December; bricks-and-mortar-style in January.
(Older track "Breathe Me," by the way, is the song that drives the final, flash-forwards-to-their-Waterloos sequence in the last episode of "Six Feet Under.")

Nice post on Sia. So few seen to know about her... The poor fools...
ReplyDeleteAs a fellow poster about music, you are doing a fine job, nice one :)
I will visit back again. Best wishes, and respect.
Great post. I have been a fan of Sia since she did "Little Man". It's too true that she's not as popular as she should be. I hope to catch her in CA when she tours here.
ReplyDeleteGreat stuff! I was absolutely blown away the first time I heard Sia. I was on a plane to France when "Day Too Soon" came on the in-flight music. Two weeks later, when I hit the ground back in the U.S. the first place I went was to pick up "Some People Have Real Problems". She has not disappointed.
