CITIZENS HERE AND ABROAD

CITIZENS HERE AND ABROAD are a dream-popping San Francisco foursome who eschew verse-chorus-verse conventionalism for a more eccentric, circuitous sound. Fortunately -- like the proverbial blind squirrel -- they do happen upon some sustenance every now and again, with ADRIENNE ROBILLARD's cool-as-a-young-good-looking-corpse vocals leading the way.

  1. I really love the sound of Citizens Here and Abroad. I especially love their videos for "Appearances" and "You Drive." I find the usage of dark backgrounds with a crisp-focused colorful foreground.
