It's been nearly nine months since I last posted a single-artist mix. Truth be told, I had no intention of ever posting another. But what the hell. Here it is. Have at it.
KATHARINA NUTTALL is a Sweden-based, Norwegian/English singer who traffics in the sort of dark, evocative indie pop that gets under my skin and plays Spin-the Bottle with my synapses. Think: hummed lullabies/whispered come-ons/seductive sweet-nothings. Plus: the occasional uptempo number, with a bit of angry edge. If ice can be made to smolder, Ms. Nuttall will get it there.
The subsequent songs are drawn from Nuttall's three full-length albums: 2007's THIS IS HOW I FEEL; 2008's CHERRY FLAVOUR SUBSTITUTE; and 2011's TURN ME ON. Hope they haunt & taunt you as much as they do me....
