Hi, thanks a lot for your great mixes. But I find also the pictures very good. Are you the artist? Best regards - Carlos

Thank you, Carlos. I WISH that I were the artist, but no, they're just pictures I find online that I think are interesting/beautiful/disturbing.

If you should ever want to know who the artist or artists are, just send me another comment or e-mail me directly through the PROFILE section at the upper-right of the site.

Thanks again for your interest in the blog, and all the best to you.

Yes, I would like to know th name of the artist(s). Most of them look so similar in style that I thought all was done by one person.
Tks also for all the good music I discovered through your site. Carlos

Carlos,

Since I resorted to mixtape-only posts back in January of 2011, I have relied excessively heavily on the artwork of MARK RYDEN. He seems to specialize in dazzlingly-detailed yet often undeniably-disturbing pictures of innocent children in various abstract situations and surroundings.

More recently, I have interspersed his work with that of artists like TODD SCHORR, JACEK YERKA, and MARK BROWN -- abstractionists all. If my health holds, you’re likely to encounter art from KEITH HARING, JOAN MIRÓ, and KATHY STAICO SCHORR in the new year. Hope they’ll continue to interest, befuddle, and bemuse....

(Oh, and... the blog banner has always been revolving works by SALVADOR DALÍ, for those that may not know.)

I always recognized Dalí, but I was very intrigued about the indeed disturbing works of Ryden. Tks again, for art and music! KR - Carlos

Another thank you from an appreciative fan of your work, regardless of where you assemble it from.
