Ah, those prolific Swedes... how we love them....

PELLE CARLBERG just released a new full-length album, THE LILAC TIME. This comes a little over a year after IN A NUTSHELL, his 2007 effort that should have made a monkey's uncle out of JENS LEKMAN's much-overpraised NIGHT FALLS OVER KORTEDALA. But nobody said that life is fair... even in Sweden....

(And no, it's not that "Fly Me to the Moon.")
