The Cobras got their start around the same time as THE WHITE STRIPES, but unlike Jack & Meg (who left Detroit for Nashville), they've chosen not to abandon their hometown. Granted, they've gone through a dizzying number of line-up changes over the years, but they're still kicking out their vintage, R&B/'60s garage-rock tunes.
For proof, check out their latest release, TIED & TRUE, on BLOODSHOT RECORDS this coming Tuesday.
