And now, ta-da!: More pop inconsequentia to help you while/wile away your Friday....
Joshua Tree, CA's GRAM RABBIT consist primarily of guitarist TODD RUTHERFORD and singer/multi-instrumentalist JESIKA... um... VON RABBIT. Yes, that's right, JESIKA VON RABBIT. You got a problem with that? (Yeah, me too, actually.)
Gram Rabbit's music has been described as "electro-twang-psychedelia," and I guess that's as good a tag as any. As a vocalist, Ms. Rabbit seems to enjoy taking on different personas. On the charmingly-titled "Bloody Bunnies," she's "naughty-schoolgirl" sassy. On, "Shiny Monster," she's "ice-queen-diva" imperious. On "Angel Song," she lets the mundanely-monikered Mr. Rutherford sidle up to the mic, and the tune's an absolute beaut. File it under "Music to float across a nighttime desert by."
