Back in 2005, I wasn't one of those bloggers who went over-the-moon ga-ga for LESLIE FEIST. It wasn't that I didn't find her voice fetching; it was just that many of the songs from 2004's LET IT DIE didn't appeal to me overmuch. Hey... it happens.

Well, it's been over a week now since the release of her latest album, THE REMINDER, and I'm feeling that ol' deja vu all over again. Actually, I'm liking a handful or so of the tracks, and that's not a particularly bad ratio for me. This time around, it seems to be the perkier tunes that are rowing my boat the best....
