

Now then... the Mary Onettes unapologetically trace their sound back to the '80s (ahem! please refer to previous post). They do not, however, sound like ERASURE. More of an ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN thing, I would say. Well... sort of. Occasionally, LLOYD COLE & THE COMMOTIONS and/or THE GO-BETWEENS (see: "Pleasure Songs") seem to insinuate themselves in there. A modern-day comparison might be something along the lines of STELLASTAR*. Anyway, you can draw your own comparisons/conclusions....
