I can't stand Jay Leno. His show makes my skin crawl. But, in switching to NBC one night to catch the beginning of Conan O'Brien, I caught the tail end of a musical performance by Londoner JAMES HUNTER and his band. To say that they had the joint jumpin' would be an understatement.
That was many, many months ago, but I'm finally getting around to posting a couple tracks from his last album -- 2006's PEOPLE GONNA TALK. Neither song captures the infectious energy and sense of just plain fun that permeated the live TV performance, but they're nice enough little ditties and deserve to be heard.
(Today's bonus tracks have nothing whatsoever to do with the Hunter selections. Other than, maybe, a sense of infectious energy and just plain fun.)
