I AM KLOOT

I AM KLOOT is a trio from Manchester led by singer-songwriter JOHN BRAMWELL. Their latest LP, I AM KLOOT PLAY MOOLAH ROUGE, was released as a limited edition late last year. It's supposed to be released in a more traditional manner sometime soon, but be damned if I can nail down a date. In the meantime, there is the subsequent smorgasbord to whet your collective appetite....

Hello! This is kind of random, but where did you find the painting of the long-legged horse and elephants that is on your banner? Could you tell me the name and title? It's really beautiful. Thank you good sir. I hope you respond.

Sarah,

I can't remember where I stumbled on that photo -- I just know that I'd been looking for a very long time for something that would work as a banner. I figured I'd know it when I saw it, and that's the way it was with this particular graphic.

The painting, by the way, is "The Temptation of St. Anthony," by Salvador Dali. Unfortunately, to get it to fit the blog, I had to crop the bottom (literally & figuratively) of the image. Go to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Dali_Temptation_of_St_Anthony.jpg] to see it in all its glory.

as few bands, I AM KLOOT can combine perfectly the Indian music with American Rock, so when you hear this people you reconize them so fast.
