I have no idea how well-known or well-regarded the Irish quartet DIRECTOR is in the UK; here in the U.S., these lads haven't even achieved blip-on-the-radar-screen status. Citing GRANDADDY, MUSE, and THE STROKES as modern-day influences, Director released their debut LP last year. It is currently available to the world on iTUNES.DIRECTOR on MySPACE.

sadly they're unknown even in the UK.
yup never heard of em over here however now I have I must say I like!
they were quite big in ireland when the album came out in 06. theyre good enough bit too much like interpol or editors though
