This week's THE KINKS follows logically enough from last week's THE TURTLES. Not that the Turtles are in the Kinks' class, legacy-wise, but both groups found much success in the '60s, and the Kinks' RAY DAVIES produced the Turtles' 1969 concept album TURTLE SOUP (which was inspired by the Kinks' 1968 concept album THE VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY). So, you see? This logically follows. Just like I told you.
